As a Manufacturing Engineer, my duties are to design not only the parts that customers need, but also, help optimize the part design, prototype the design, create detailed blueprints for manufacturing and even design the injection mold tools that will produce the parts in mass. After the design is started, I collect all information to assist with the part designing process. I create the preliminary part design then, work with the customers to make any adjustments that may be needed. Through this time I 3d print prototypes if needed to send to the client. We then have a final review to make sure the design is functioning and cost effective for manufacturing processes. Once the design is approved, I can design the injection mold tool if needed. I can help to source manufacturing and offer consulting for any questions through the entire process. For some customers I program the CNC mills and lathes in order to produce every component needed to make the parts or injection mold tools. At my full time job I work doing all of the same things from above, We design parts, and injection molds, build the molds then run them all in house. After the first run we verify all dimensions are within tolerance make any changes needed then start production. I have designed many molds that are being used for 5-10 year+ contracts making automotive parts, aerospace, military and defense, government contracts, medical etc. I have 15 years of experience in 3d modeling, concept design, part design, 3d printing and rapid prototyping, CNC programming and much more. I'm proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, Camworks, Fusion 360, Inventor and many other programs used to design parts. I'm taking online classes for Manufacturing Engineering at Sinclair Community College in my spare time. I have the following certifications for SolidWorks and Camworks: Associate- Mechanical Design (CSWA) Associate- Additive Manufacturing (CSWA-AM) Professional- Mechanical Design (CSWP) Professional- Advanced Mold Making (CSWP-AMM) Professional- Advanced Surfacing (CSWP-AS) Professional- Advanced Drawing Tools (CSWP-DT) 14 Camworks certifications 112 SolidWorks certifications (continuing education from 2010-present) If I can help assist in any CAD designs, product designs, CNC programming,3d printing/ prototyping, product rendering, manufacturing, sourcing, reverse engineering, injection mold design, 3d printing or anything else please reach out as I'd love to see if I can help. You have a product idea, a concept that needs to work in the real world, or a design that needs to look compelling before it reaches the market. The gap between that idea and a manufacturable, market-ready reality? That's exactly where I come in. I'm a 3D Product & Industrial Designer with deep expertise in CAD modeling, prototype design, and manufacturing-ready file preparation. I work with inventors, startups, and product companies to take concepts from sketch to production, delivering precise, functional designs built for the real world. Clients come to me for: 🔹 Prototype & Product Design — I create accurate 3D CAD models optimized for manufacturing, 3D printing, and prototyping using SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, and Onshape. Whether you need a consumer product, industrial equipment, electronics enclosure, or furniture design, I model it with manufacturing feasibility in mind. 🔹 Manufacturing Ready Files & Technical Drawings — I deliver complete engineering documentation, including STEP, STL, IGES, and DXF files, assembly drawings, exploded views, GD&T technical drawings, CNC machining files, and patent drawings. Everything your manufacturer needs to move forward without guesswork. 🔹 Product Visualization & Rendering — I produce photorealistic product renders, 3D product animations, and CGI visuals that communicate your design's value. Ideal for crowdfunding campaigns, investor pitches, e-commerce listings, and marketing. What sets me apart is that I don't just model. I think about design for manufacturing (DFM), material tolerances, assembly logic, and production cost from day one. That means fewer revision cycles, fewer surprises at the factory, and a faster path from concept to reality. Industries I've worked across include consumer products, medical devices, automotive components, aerospace parts, PCB enclosures, and furniture. If you're ready to move your idea forward with a designer who takes your product as seriously as you do, let's talk.
