I help international companies refine and localize Korean content for market entry and growth.
🌍I am a Chinese–English–Korean business translator with a background in global business and digital services. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from an English-based international business school and have supported companies such as LG Electronics (HQ) and Hotel Shilla in multilingual, business-critical environments.
✍️My experience includes reviewing and refining Korean translations, localizing landing pages, web content, and service copy, and ensuring that messaging sounds natural, clear, and market-appropriate to Korean audiences. I specialize in improving tone, flow, and context—not just translating words.
👩🏻💻I work fully remote and focus on document-based projects, including translation review, editing, and localization for companies entering the Korean market.
🇰🇷If you need Korean content that feels natural, trustworthy, and aligned with local expectations, I’d be happy to support your project.

I take pages that are underperforming against a client's own scoring target and get them past it, then put them live.
Ten pages for a Shopify plant nursery, each with a target written into the contract: 59 to 89, 47 to 89, 54 to 95, 65 to 97, 70 to 92, 72 to 89, 81 to 92, 55 to 100, and two more. Every one past target. All ten milestones paid.
On four of those pages the copy was never the problem. One was being graded against the wrong search intent, so correcting the benchmark moved it from 55 to 86 with the body text untouched. One had six topics where a single topic sat at 17 and held a third of the total score by itself. One was describing a different fruit than the one it sold. I check the store's full product catalog against the page before I write, which on that account surfaced varieties the page was selling that the store did not stock, product handles still carrying duplication artifacts, and a meta description naming the wrong region.
Then I publish. Collection and blog pages go live in Shopify with internal product links mapped, images resized to spec, alt text written, author and date set. Not a document handed over for someone else to paste.
I am also a native Korean speaker, and that is a separate line of work rather than a footnote. I write and transcribe Korean to English: drama and film scene breakdowns with Hangul, romanization, English and a register note per line, recap scripts for a YouTube channel, and language-learning blog content. Korean comprehension and native-level English are usually two hires. Here they are one.
How the desk runs: research and outline, AI-assisted drafting rewritten by hand, SEO and GEO structure, a full native line edit, then fact-check and QA. Clients who want AI in the loop get it. Clients who want it invisible get that too.
If your brand sells to Spanish-speaking customers, I deliver EN to ES in Latin American Spanish, with two bilingual passes on every Spanish piece.
Send me one URL and the keyword it targets, or one scene and the format you need, and I will tell you what is actually holding it back before you commit to anything.

Japanese and Korean are my primary language pair, and I focus specifically on business translation, the kind where getting the register wrong or missing a cultural layer costs you the deal.
My background is in management consulting and enterprise tech (McKinsey, Datadog). That means I understand what I'm translating beyond the words: why a Korean executive memo is written the way it is, how pitch decks need to shift for a Japanese vs. Western audience, and what a contract clause actually means in context. I've spent years working inside Asian institutional environments at Keio University and Yonsei University, which sharpens the professional and cultural fluency that no language course gives you.
[What I translate]
- Business contracts and partnership agreements
- Corporate pitch decks and investor materials
- Executive communications and internal memos
- Market entry reports and competitive research
- Product documentation and SaaS UI/UX copy
- HR documentation, onboarding materials, and policies
- Email correspondence and client-facing communications
- Business proposals and RFP responses
[Language pairs]
Korean ↔ English (primary, native-level proficiency)
Japanese ↔ English (business-level, written documents and correspondence)
Korean ↔ Japanese (available on request)
[Why hire me over a general translator]
Most translators give you technically accurate output. What they often miss is register, hierarchy, and intent, especially in Korean and Japanese business communication, where those things carry significant meaning. I've worked directly with both countries' executives, participated in international business programs, and operated in corporate environments. I translate the business logic, not just the sentences.
[Typical deliverables]
- Full document translation with original formatting preserved
- Side-by-side bilingual versions for review or legal use
- Light editing and post-processing of machine-translated content (MT review)
- Localization consulting for teams entering the Korean or Japanese market
[Working style]
Fast response time. Clear communication throughout. I'll flag anything ambiguous before delivering, not after. If a term doesn't have a clean equivalent, I'll note it and give you options rather than guessing.
If you're working on something with real stakes like a funding round, a market entry, a partnership negotiation, message me and we can scope it.
