I’ve spent most of my life obsessing over sound, music, storytelling, and the small emotional details that make creative work actually feel alive. I started as a musician long before I ever called myself an editor or producer. Playing professional jazz gigs and corporate events, performing in jazz ensembles, spending thousands of hours mixing records, promoting and booking my own music festivals, performing original music in front of hundreds of people, playing guitar alongside Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, and engineering live sound for acts like Plain White T’s, Quiet Riot, and Jimmie Vaughan all shaped the way I think about creativity, pacing, and emotion.
