I originally got into UX Research after not being able to find a decent project management app for managing music projects. I needed an app that could handle diagramming, audio files, encryption and multiple ways to view the same data. The lack of such an app in the market sent me spiraling into a new passion; UX Research. Whenever I spoke to people about my work--as a musician--they were often surprised by how much software my job required. Most couldn't relate directly, however they faced their own UX nightmares of frozen windows, buttons that were too small and software crucial to their jobs not working when they needed it most. Through networking I lucked upon this same conversation, but this time, with two UX/UI Developers. On two separate occasions I was informed to look into UX Research; once I did I was in absolute love with the field.
