I've worked on a mobile app that has over 500K downloads in The Google Play Store and that has recently been released to Apple's App Store. I've also worked on other products that are live.
Hello, my name is Caroline. I specialize in helping companies figure out and solve usability, information architecture, visual design, and accessibility issues within their digital products. These are issues that, left unsolved, will undermine user experience and significantly affect a company's bottom line.
I have proven experience with the following:
- UX research planning
- Recruiting participants for usability testing and user interviews
- Conducting usability testing and user interviews with users
- Reviewing Google Analytics to uncover where in a product users might be facing usability issues
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- User journey mapping
- Personas
- User flows
- Carrying out heuristic evaluations and UX audits
I also have strong skills in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
During our first call, expect me to ask a few questions about your business goals and what problem your product is intended to solve for its users.

An exceptional creative thinker and problem solver, I excel at multiple UX disciplines. As a product designer, I have a deep passion for UX research and sharing insights through the art of storytelling. My background in marketing has molded me into an eloquent writer and communicator; understanding how to creatively share insights to advocate for the importance of research and the value of design. I have unbridled sensitivity and dedication to my work; and am especially drawn to communities that match my values and fervor for ethical design.

I've been at it since 2009 — developing iOS apps for startups, software development agencies, and large corporations. I'm great with UI & UX design, and specialize in audio and music software.
App development is often an exercise in striking a balance between the ideal functionality and what can be achieved within a short timeline. The objective is to minimize time and effort while providing an exceptional user experience. I enjoy this balancing act — it's the core of the value I provide to my clients, in addition to clean & easily maintainable code, and interfaces that look and feel sublime.

If you’re visiting my profile you probably have a couple of questions.
“Can he deliver?”
“Will he be available when I need help in a pinch?”
“Do I need a UX/UI designer anyway?”
But I guarantee you the question you’re not asking, but should be, is…
“Does he have a baby strapped to his chest while climbing a 20-foot ladder up a rocky slope in Wyoming?”
HAH! Made you look.
And yes, that’s Rylee, who in my humble opinion is the coolest kid on this planet because she’s already been to 8 National Parks and only just turned 1.
The problem?
She won’t remember anything, which means ROADTRIP 2.0!!!!
Anywho…
Back to you, my friend with the questions.
Short answer: Yes, I can deliver
Long answer: Over the past 10 years I’ve transformed myself in 2 ways.
First - I’ve learned the art and science of user experience. I'm obsessed with getting a random person on the internet to enjoy using the products I touch.
So what does this mean for you?
Need help with your UX design? I’m your guy.
Looking to refresh your mobile app so it looks professional AND converts? Look no further.
Want somebody to fix your email sequences? Let me at ‘em.
Second - I’ve gotten shockingly good at funnel building.
When I first started down the digital marketing rabbit hole I began as a content writer who quickly learned I was writing solely to get traffic from Google.
Being the curious human being I am, I spent a full 6 years of my life understanding the workings of funnel building. I start with the design of the online product, then I design the experience a user will have going through a sales funnel.
Now, to your second question.
Yes, I will be available for you even during the hard times. When you add me to your team, you're getting an expert who will guide you through the growth stages (both the fun times and the not-so-fun times).
And for your third question…
If you're somebody who likes to learn through trial and error - you don't need a UX/UI designer to help with your mobile app, web app, or sales pages.
And/Or
If you don't have an MVP I honestly don't know if you'll need to go through the process of bringing on a UX designer. Most times I recommend you create something barebones to at least test if the market is ready for you.
Alternatively…
If you’ve successfully generated revenue, and you’re looking to scale, you NEED a UX/UI designer.
If your product contains a lot of data or complex functionalities, time to consider a user experience designer.
Everyone’s story is different, but those are the general guidelines I’ve found to be useful so you don’t burn a big pile of cash.
Hopefully, I’ve answered the big questions.
Now, if you’re still interested in chatting further about your project, let’s connect.
I’m available for now to help good businesses grow. Hopefully, that means yours!
