I was born an artist. Since leaving school I have worked across a wide variety of visual art forms. Including traditional fine art and illustration, painting, drawing, print making and digital media and have gained wide experience in the Industry. My work has appeared in publications by D.C Thomson's Scots Magazine and other publications. This website reflects a variety of work and have included illustrations I have made while working on my MA in Authorial Illustration at Falmouth University. I have always told stories in my work. Sometimes hidden and sometimes in clear view. These stories touch on themes from the sea, both natural and social history are now rooted in my work. I am exploring our maritime past with the clear effects on nature. Current work centers on whales and whaling which was presented in the 2022 MA show at Falmouth University.
