Air Purifier Design
Led the complete mechanical and airflow design of a smart cylindrical air purifier. Designed the enclosure, internal ducting, and fan system to achieve a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 500 m³/h while maintaining low noise. Integrated a centrifugal fan with optimized blade geometry, airflow channels, and a cylindrical HEPA + activated carbon filter. Created manufacturable CAD models, supported mold-ready plastic part design, and ensured proper sealing for dust containment and filter integrity.
Personal Air Sampling Pump
Designed a compact, wearable air sampling pump for occupational exposure monitoring. Developed a custom diaphragm pump, internal airflow pathway, and sensor housing to maintain accurate flow under variable back pressure. Engineered a low-power circuit architecture with BLE connectivity, pressure sensing, motor control, and data logging. Created an intuitive UI on a 2.4” TFT screen with real-time feedback and fault detection. Ensured compliance with IEC 60079 standards for intrinsic safety and environmental performance.
Area Air Sampling Pump
Developed a high-capacity, portable air sampling pump for fixed-location use in industrial settings.
