I am a small animal emergency veterinarian. I am a third generation veterinarian and grew up in my grandfather and father’s animal clinics. Some of the skills they bestowed upon me are a hard work ethic, proper grammar, and the importance of compassion. I was published in national papers in high school and was enrolled in the English Honors Society. I played the saxophone in numerous bands and orchestras both in and out of school, all while working at my father’s clinic. Although I took a detour from my veterinary destiny to pursue a career in music, I soon realized where my true passion lies; my inquenchable thirst for learning about and practicing medicine drives me to be a life-long student. Despite graduating vet school seven years ago, I am constantly reading journals and textbooks to keep up on the constant evolution of medicine, as well as teaching myself new skills. Right now I am working my way through emergency and critical care topics. In addition to practicing, I am also a husband to my high school sweetheart, and dad.
