Product Dev Expert - Pre Pillow Manufacturing (Tech Pack, 3D Design)

I’m developing a travel neck pillow product at the pre-sample stage and need an experienced product development designer to help refine specs and prepare for manufacturer communication. What you’ll be working on: • Creating a tech pack • Advising on construction feasibility before sampling • Creating 3D renders / CAD visuals for a foam mould • Helping prepare a clean, sample-ready document pack for manufacturers Ideal background includes: • Soft goods or accessories product development (comfort, fashion, sleepwear) • Experience with wearable products (understanding of fit, ease, and how items sit on the body) • Familiarity with foam, memory foam, or latex core construction and factory moulding req. • Knowledge of pillow or cushion shell design including removable/washable covers and zip applications • CLO 3D, Adobe Illustrator (technical flats), or equivalent • Experience preparing specs for overseas manufacturers (China or SE Asia) Nice to have: • Previous work on pillows, or foam-filled products (latex and polyurethane) • Fabric sourcing knowledge (natural or blended fibres, bamboo, cotton) • Experience with adjustable or tie-based closures
