Apartment Building Research and Marketing Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to help position a brand-new apartment rental building for success in a competitive urban, transit-oriented market in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will assist with: • Researching competing apartment buildings in the area, including rents, amenities, branding, and leasing strategies. • Identifying current market trends and renter preferences. • Recommending building amenities, finishes, and design features that will appeal to our target tenants and differentiate the property from competitors. • Developing branding and marketing strategies for the building, including pre-leasing and lease-up campaigns. • Advising on the selection of a leasing agent or property management company to successfully handle the lease-up process. We are looking for someone with experience in multifamily market analysis, apartment branding, leasing strategy, and real estate marketing. Experience with new construction or lease-up properties in urban markets is strongly preferred. The goal of this engagement is to create a compelling product that meets renter expectations, stands out from competing developments, and achieves a successful lease-up.
