British Nostalgia Visual Research Assistant

We're looking for a Visual Research Assistant to help source images and video clips for a growing British nostalgia YouTube channel. The role involves reading completed scripts and gathering visual assets that accurately represent everyday life in Britain during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Responsibilities include: • Finding historical photos, archive imagery and relevant video clips • Matching visuals to specific sections of a script • Organising assets into clearly labelled Google Drive folders • Identifying authentic British locations, products, homes, shops, schools and cultural references • Delivering organised visual packs that can be handed directly to a video editor This is NOT a video editing role. We're looking for someone with strong research skills, good attention to detail, and ideally familiarity with British culture and nostalgia. The ideal candidate enjoys digging through old photographs, archive material and visual references, and can recognise what feels authentically British versus generic stock imagery. This will begin as a paid trial project for one video, with ongoing work available for the right person.
