CAD Drafter Needed

Valentine Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented freelance CAD Drafter to support our growing residential interior design projects. This role is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in AutoCAD, understands residential construction, and can translate design concepts, sketches, measurements, and markups into clear, professional drawing sets. You’ll work directly with the principal designer to develop and revise drawings throughout the design and construction process. Responsibilities Create and revise AutoCAD drawings for residential interior design and renovation projects Develop floor plans, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, electrical plans, elevations, and detailed drawings Translate sketches, field measurements, design concepts, and redlines into accurate CAD drawings Produce kitchen, bathroom, cabinetry, built-in, and millwork elevations Incorporate designer and contractor feedback into drawing revisions Maintain organized drawing sets, layers, dimensions, annotations, and file standards Help prepare clear design-intent and construction documentation for contractors, vendors, and clients Coordinate drawings with architectural plans and other project information as needed
