Flutter Developer & UI/UX Web Designer — Early-Stage Marketplace App **Contract / Freelance | Remote | NDA Required Before Full Scope Is Shared** About the Project We're building the MVP for a new on-demand service marketplace app — a mobile and web platform connecting three types of users (customers, independent service providers, and delivery personnel) through a single booking, tracking, and payment experience. Think of the general shape as "logistics coordination for a local service industry," similar in spirit to how ride-hailing or food-delivery apps coordinate multiple parties around one transaction. Full product details, workflows, and technical specifications are confidential at this stage — some aspects of the platform are the subject of a pending patent application — and will only be shared with candidates who sign a mutual NDA before scoping calls or repo access. Role Overview We're looking for a versatile freelancer who can move fluidly between **Flutter development** and **web/UI design** — someone comfortable both building functional screens and making them look and feel polished, without needing a separate design handoff for every component. Responsibilities - Build responsive, production-quality UI in Flutter across iOS, Android, and Web from a single shared codebase - Design and/or refine the visual design system (typography, color, spacing, component library) for a clean, modern, trustworthy consumer app - Translate rough wireframes and written specs into polished, functional screens - Implement role-based views for three distinct user types within the same app architecture (specific roles discussed after NDA) - Collaborate closely with the founder and backend engineer on API integration, using a documented backend (Supabase) and third-party services (payments, maps, notifications) - Iterate quickly based on user-testing feedback during a beta phase Required Skills & Experience - 2+ years of professional Flutter development, with apps shipped to the App Store and/or Google Play - Strong UI/UX design sensibility — portfolio showing both mobile and responsive web work - Comfortable working from Figma (or creating your own design assets if no dedicated designer is on the project) - Experience integrating a backend-as-a-service platform (Supabase, Firebase, or similar) via REST/realtime APIs - Familiarity with role-based access patterns and multi-user-type applications - Clear communicator, comfortable with async collaboration and a fast-moving early-stage environment Nice to Have - Experience with marketplace or logistics-style apps (booking flows, real-time status tracking, in-app payments) - Experience with Stripe or another payment-processing SDK - Prior work on a pre-launch startup or MVP under time constraints Engagement Details - **Type:** - Contract / freelance, part-time or full-time depending on fit - **Duration:** - Initial engagement to support MVP build (~2–3 months), with potential to extend - **Compensation:** Negotiated with qualified individuals - **Start:** ASAP Confidentiality This is an early-stage project with IP protections in progress.
