Consultant for Automated Investment Reporting

We are seeking a consultant to help design and build a quarterly investment-reporting system. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment reporting and be able to develop a system that provides clear and actionable insights. The role involves collaborating with our team to ensure the system meets our needs and is user-friendly. The initial use case is approximately 100 401(k) plans. Each client report will show the investments in the plan and investment-level metrics (from excel or csv file), such as returns, benchmark comparisons, fees, ratings, and risk measures.. The system should: - Import holdings and preformance date for about 2000 investments - Match investments using ticker, CUSIP, or approved exceptions to about 100 retirement plans - Generate a separate PDF report for each client - Support quarterly updates and repeated batch reporting - Flag unmatched or missing data - Be usable by two employees - Allow review before reports are emailed to clients, which can be automated or manual The design should also allow for future wealth-management reporting, where one client may have multiple selected accounts using data exported from the investment custodian. We are not committed to a specific technology. Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Power Automate, Excel, or another suitable solution may be appropriate.
