UI/UX Designer Needed for SaaS Inspired by ClassDojo

Summary

I’m building a vertical SaaS product for small business owners who need to manage customers, schedules, payments, balances, reminders, and messages in one simple app. I already have a clear product direction, rough mockups, and reference images. I’m not looking for full product strategy or a complete app redesign. I need a strong UI/UX designer to take the existing dashboard direction and turn it into one polished, high-quality Figma dashboard concept. The target user is busy, non-technical, and often distracted while using the product. The interface needs to feel extremely simple, friendly, visual, and obvious. It should not feel like Stripe, QuickBooks, or a dense admin dashboard. It should feel more like a warm operating system for a small business owner: big visual cards, clear actions, simple language, and a layout that immediately tells the user what needs attention. Design inspiration: ClassDojo Think friendly consumer-style UX mixed with polished SaaS. I want the dashboard to feel approachable and easy, but still professional and trustworthy enough for payments. The direction is roughly: 70% friendly/simple clarity + 30% polished SaaS finish. Dashboard concept: The home screen should immediately answer: * What happened today * Who owes money * What needs attention * What button to click next Initial screen should include: * Left sidebar navigation * 3 large primary payment/action cards * “Needs Attention” section * Right-side activity/messages panel * Customer/profile card * Family/account/billing card * Basic component styling for cards, buttons, badges, typography, and colors Example navigation: * Home * Customers * Schedule * Accounts * Payments * Messages * Settings Copy/tone direction: Use plain English. Avoid finance/admin jargon like “AR,” “ledger,” “receivables,” “processor response,” or “dunning.” Use simple labels like: * “Ready to Collect” * “Cards That Failed” * “Accounts Behind” * “Collect Payment” * “Send Reminder” * “Fix Card” * “View Account” * “Reply to Message” Deliverables: 1. One polished desktop dashboard screen in Figma 2. Reusable card/button/badge styles 3. Clean visual hierarchy What I’m looking for: * Strong SaaS dashboard design experience * Clean Figma work * Good visual hierarchy * Ability to make complex workflows feel simple * Friendly, modern, card-based UI style * Not overly corporate, not childish Please include: 1. SaaS dashboard examples you’ve designed 2. Any friendly/consumer-style web app examples 3. Your estimated timeline for one polished dashboard concept If the first screen is strong, there may be more follow-up design work.
