UX/UI Designer – Redesign a Loyalty Stamp Card App (React Native/Expo)

A customer-facing mobile loyalty platform. Think a modern, warm alternative to traditional punch cards. The app has two merchant types: Businesses (cafes, bakeries, smoothie bars) and Professionals (barbers, personal trainers with individual stamp cards). Current State: I built a functional prototype but the UI needs a professional eye. The layout works, but it lacks the polish, personality, and visual rhythm a real designer would bring. The structure is there — it needs someone who knows how to make it feel like a real consumer product that people in the Bahamas would actually want to open and use. Screens to redesign (9 total): Home – greeting, reward progress ("5 stamps from Free Cut"), PIN display, up to 5 stamp cards Discover – merchant discovery with filters (All/Businesses/Professionals) Rewards – rewards hub with tier progress Profile – account info + PIN card History – stamp collection history timeline Business Detail – individual business page with stamp progress, reward info, business info (address/hours/phone/website) Professional Detail – similar to business but for individual professionals Business Card View – full-screen stamp card with dash-border dots All Cards – full list of user's loyalty cards What I'm looking for: A strong portfolio with consumer app work (loyalty, fintech, hospitality a plus) Someone who can bring warmth, character, and Caribbean energy — not corporate sterile Deep understanding of visual hierarchy, spacing, color theory, and typography React Native/Expo familiarity preferred (or ability to hand off precise specs) Apple Human Interface Guidelines fluency — the current app references Apple HIG naming but doesn't execute on it What you'll deliver: Full redesign of all 9 screens in Figma (or your preferred tool) Design system: colors, typography, components, spacing A polished, consumer-grade visual identity Detailed specs/handoff for a React Native developer to implement Budget: Open — I want quality and I'm willing to pay for it.
