Direct-Response Video Editor for E-commerce Ads

We're a growing e-commerce group running paid social ads (Meta, TikTok) across multiple brands, and we need a skilled direct-response video editor to join one of our creative teams on an ongoing basis. This is high-volume work — we test a lot of creative to find winners — so we're looking for someone fast, reliable, and genuinely good at editing ads that convert, not just look nice. What you'll be doing: Editing short-form direct-response video ads from supplied scripts, raw AI-generated footage, and b-roll Cutting for retention and pace — strong hooks, tight pacing, no dead air Sound design: music, sound effects, and clean audio levelling Sourcing and layering b-roll (both literal and emotive) to support the message Producing multiple variations of winning concepts for testing You must have: A strong portfolio of short-form ad / DR editing work (please share examples) Solid command of CapCut (and ideally familiarity with AI tools like Higgsfield) An understanding of what makes a direct-response ad work — hook, pacing, emotional beats, CTA Fast turnaround and consistent daily availability Good written English for clear communication Nice to have: Experience editing UGC-style ads Experience with Canva
