Dynamics CRM / Power Platform Developer for a Technology Consulting Company

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics and Power Platform Consultant to assess current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design a scalable roadmap for future platform development and workflow optimization. This role combines current-state workflow analysis with hands-on configuration and workflow improvements across Dynamics CRM and the Microsoft Power Platform. General information The consultant will begin with an audit of existing systems, workflows, and day-to-day operational procedures across the Microsoft ecosystem. The work includes mapping current-state and future-state processes, identifying inefficiencies and automation opportunities, and recommending structural improvements that can scale. This is a hybrid thinker-and-doer role. The consultant will work with internal stakeholders to understand how workflows are used in practice, present findings and recommendations, and help execute approved changes within the existing environment. The team includes leadership, a Product Manager, and an internal Dynamics CRM/Power Automate developer. Tasks and Deliverables - Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current workflows, databases, and business processes. - Audit existing Dynamics CRM and Power Platform implementations. - Identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and process gaps. - Design future-state architecture and implementation roadmaps. - Develop and optimize workflows using Power Platform tools. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. - Support execution and implementation of recommended improvements. - Provide best-practice guidance around data management, workflow automation, and platform governance. - Interview internal employees to document current-state workflows and functional gaps. - Configure approved changes across fields, forms, views, and automated flows. Required experience - Dynamics CRM experience. - Microsoft Power Platform expertise, including Power Automate and Power Apps. - Strong workflow design, process optimization, and process mapping experience. - Dataverse experience. - Database architecture and data management experience. - Ability to perform system audits and create strategic roadmaps. - Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions. - Hands-on experience configuring forms, fields, views, and workflows. Nice to have: - Power BI experience. - System architecture experience. - Development background.
