Film director and editor in Ohio needed to create social content video

We’re looking for a talented freelance creator/filmmaker/editor (or very small production team) based in Ohio to help create a lo-fi, authentic social media video for a workshop factory in Cleveland. This is NOT a traditional glossy commercial. We want something that feels real, warm, charming, slightly imperfect, and genuinely human, like it was filmed in-house by creative employees with good taste. The concept centers around actual factory craftsmen/craftswomen and local community members lip-syncing/miming along to an original song. Reference Tone: * social-first authenticity * Documentary energy * Fun and irreverent PROJECT SCOPE * 1x Hero Film (approx. 60–90 seconds) * Potential cutdowns for social media (15s / 30s) WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We need someone who can: * Direct non-actors naturally * Capture authentic moments and personality * Work quickly with a small footprint * Film in an energetic but natural style * Edit rhythmically to music * Make something feel culturally real, not “advertising” The workers are the stars - not actors. FILMING STYLE * Handheld / natural camera movement * Real factory lighting (maybe mixed with minimal supplemental lighting) * Lo-fi authenticity over polished perfection * Natural expressions and interactions * Quick cuts synced to music * Close-up craftsmanship details * Textures, materials, movement, pride WE HAVE Already written the script and recorded the music. We need someone to help bring it to life. LOCATION Must be based in Ohio (or nearby driving distance). Filming will take place at the factory workshop in Cleveland with supplemental shots around the local neighborhood. Because of budget constraints, we are specifically seeking local/regional creatives rather than national production companies. IDEAL EXPERIENCE Would love to see examples of: * Music videos * Social-first branded content * Documentary-style filmmaking * Culture/community storytelling Small crews preferred.
