Flutter Developer Needed Holiday Management Module | Employee Attendance App

Project Overview We have an existing Flutter mobile app for employee attendance (clock in / clock out using a PIN code). The core app is already built. We now need an experienced Flutter developer to build and integrate a Holiday Management Module into the existing codebase. This is a focused, well-scoped feature addition not a full app build. What’s Already Done • Employee PIN-based clock in / clock out (Flutter mobile) • Admin web dashboard (attendance logs, employee management) • Backend with Supabase (PostgreSQL) + authentication • Deployment live and working What We Need You To Build Employee Side (Flutter Mobile) • Holiday request screen employee selects start date, end date, optional reason, and submits • Request status screen shows Pending / Approved / Rejected with dates • Remaining holiday balance visible on dashboard (e.g. “12 days remaining”) Admin Side • View all pending holiday requests with employee name, dates, and days count • Approve or Reject with one tap • Set each employee’s annual leave allowance (default: 28 days per UK standard) • Add custom company holidays (e.g. office closure days) • Auto-sync UK public bank holidays via the official gov.uk API Backend / Database • Holiday requests table (Supabase / PostgreSQL) • Leave balance tracking per employee per year • Conflict detection flag if two employees request the same dates (optional but preferred) Tech Stack (Must Match) Layer Technology Mobile App Flutter (latest stable) State Management BLoC or GetX (discuss with us) Backend Supabase (PostgreSQL) Architecture Clean Architecture preferred Platform Android + iOS Ideal Candidate • 2+ years Flutter experience with production apps • Experience with BLoC or GetX state management • Comfortable working with existing codebases (not building from scratch) • Clean code, proper folder structure, no shortcuts • Good English communication we do regular check-ins via Slack/WhatsApp • UK timezone preferred (or significant overlap GMT±3) Deliverables 1. Full source code for holiday module integrated into existing project 2. Supabase migration file (SQL) for new tables 3. Brief documentation how the module works, any env variables needed 4.
