Tastings will take place in or near Arlington, Virginia What You’ll Evaluate You’ll provide feedback on: * Flavor and overall taste * Sweetness, saltiness, seasoning, and balance * Texture and mouthfeel * Aroma and appearance * Aftertaste and overall eating experience * Whether the product feels premium and commercially ready * What you would change or improve * Whether you would purchase it * Which version you prefer when comparing multiple recipes Who I’m Looking For Great candidates may include: * Chefs, cooks, bakers, or food-industry professionals * Food product developers or sensory evaluators * Serious food enthusiasts with a strong palate * Everyday consumers who can give detailed, thoughtful feedback Professional food experience is helpful but **not required**. I value candid feedback. If something tastes wrong or needs improvement, I want to hear it. Deliverables After tasting, you’ll complete a short structured evaluation covering: * Ratings for taste, texture, appearance, and overall appeal * Specific likes and dislikes * Recommendations for improvement * Whether you would purchase the product * Preferred version, if multiple recipes are tested Please disclose any **food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions** before participating. To Apply Please include: 1. Your location in the DMV area 2. Whether you can attend an in-person tasting near Arlington 3. Any relevant food, culinary, or taste-testing experience 4. A brief example of how you would give detailed feedback on a food product 5. Any food allergies or dietary restrictions I’m looking for people who can help identify the small improvements that turn a good recipe into a product customers would want to buy again. Example questions: Whether the product tastes homemade, premium, restaurant-quality, or commercially ready What you like and dislike about the recipe Specific changes you would recommend Whether you would personally purchase the product What might prevent a typical customer from purchasing it How the product compares with similar foods or products you have tried Which recipe version you prefer when testing multiple variations
