We are a UK e-commerce business with a clear growth plan and a capable team. What we need is someone to make sure the plan actually gets done. We are looking for a fractional Programme Manager or Chief of Staff working directly with the owners and a small senior team. Your job is to own the operating rhythm of our growth programme. That means running a weekly growth meeting, maintaining and updating an action and ownership table, chasing the people responsible for each task, flagging blockers before they become delays, and preparing decisions so the owners can make them quickly. You are not deciding strategy or doing the marketing yourself. You are the person who keeps everyone else moving, aligned, and accountable. You will need to get up to speed quickly on a business you have not worked in before. We will give you everything you need to do that, and we expect the right person to be operational within two weeks. This role is for you if you have run this kind of function before, as a Chief of Staff, Programme Director, or senior Project Manager. You are comfortable chasing senior people for overdue work, you write clearly and concisely, and you are organised by instinct. You like bringing order to a busy, fast-moving environment. This role is not for you if you are looking to set strategy, run marketing campaigns yourself, or be told exactly what to do each day. We need someone who takes ownership of process and runs with it. The engagement is likely to grow for the right person, with a realistic path to more hours and wider scope.
