AI Automation Developer – Logistics Workflow (POD, Dispatch & Invoicing) Overview I run an agency that works with small logistics and trucking companies to automate their core operations. I'm looking for a reliable freelance developer to help build and deploy AI-powered workflow automations for our client engagements — specifically around dispatch management, POD collection, and invoicing triggers. This is a short-term project (2–4 weeks) with strong potential for ongoing work as we onboard more clients. Fixed project fee: $400 USD. Ongoing changes billed at $50 USD per request. What You'll Build A workflow that captures driver POD (photo/signature) and automatically links it to the corresponding job record An automation that triggers invoice generation once POD is confirmed Dispatch notification system (driver assignments, status updates) with minimal manual input Clean integration between the client's existing tools (TMS, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, or basic CRMs) Required Skills Hands-on experience with Make.com, n8n, or Zapier (tell us which you prefer and why) API integrations and webhook-based workflows Python or Node.js for custom logic where no-code falls short Ability to work with messy, real-world setups — not clean sandbox environments Nice to Have Prior experience in logistics, trucking, or fleet operations software Familiarity with tools like Samsara, Rose Rocket, or KeepTruckin OpenAI or Claude API integration experience for document parsing or smart routing What We're Looking For Someone who can take a rough workflow description and turn it into a working, reliable automation fast.
