This position requires a proactive individual who is adept at optimizing current functionalities, ensuring smooth integration between the two platforms, and enhancing the overall user experience. - Fluid Page Transitions: Implement a smooth fade-in/fade-out page transition across both platforms to eliminate the harsh browser "flash to white" when navigating between the Squarespace root and the Shopify subdomain. - Weighted Hover States: Add smooth CSS transitions to all navigation links, buttons, and interactive elements so they ease into hover states rather than snapping instantly. - Living Catalog Grids: Configure a gentle, slow-motion scale effect on Shopify product image hovers, and ensure the grid smoothly reveals secondary context images on hover where applicable. - Fluid Cart Drawer: Optimize the transition of the native Shopify slide-out cart drawer so it eases in flawlessly from the right margin without causing visual stutter. Scroll-Driven Reveal: Apply a lightweight, performance-optimized scroll-reveal effect to softly fade up text and image elements as a user moves down the page. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience working with both Squarespace and Shopify. - Strong proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - A passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
