Grant Writer for Youth Non-Profit

My client, Natural Born Champions, a Maryland out of school youth intervention program, is seeking a skilled grant writer to complete a Maryland State grant to reduce youth involvement in the juvenile and criminal legal systems through diversion, restorative practices, mentorship, education, and developmentally appropriate intervention strategies. The scope includes: - Alternative Pathways and Diversion: Support initiatives that provide pre-arrest, pre-booking, or community-based diversion opportunities for youth through mentorship, restorative justice practices, behavioral interventions, or community-based programming. - Educational Engagement and Workforce Development: Support programs that improve educational access, workforce readiness, credentialing opportunities, career exploration, or accredited educational support for justice-involved or at-risk youth. The organization recently won a similar grant from the same agency so many of the templates are already prepared and just need to be updated to fit the proposal and grant criteria. The first draft needs to be ready by 7/22 and the final submission is due 7/31.
