Healthcare Product Manager (Discovery, SaaS Strategy & Healthcare Operations) Overview Seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the discovery and strategy phase of a healthcare technology initiative. The client is a growing healthcare organization exploring the creation of a SaaS platform designed to improve operational continuity, patient experience, provider workflows, AI-assisted operations, and practice management. This engagement is focused on discovery, product strategy, validation, and roadmap development. This is NOT a software development role (yet). Responsibilities Lead product discovery activities including: * Stakeholder interviews * Workflow mapping * Requirements gathering * Current-state assessment * Future-state workflow design * User journey mapping * Pain point analysis * Product vision development * MVP definition * Feature prioritization * Product roadmap creation Review and synthesize: * Market research * Competitive analysis * Industry trends * Healthcare workflow findings -Facilitate discovery workshops and strategic discussions. -You will have one resource reporting to you to leverage as needed/desired Provide recommendations regarding: * Product direction * MVP scope * Build vs. buy considerations * AI opportunities * SaaS strategy Deliverables Expected outputs include: * Product Vision Document * User Personas * User Journey Maps * Current State Assessment * Future State Recommendations * MVP Definition * Prioritized Feature List * Product Roadmap * Product Requirements Summary * Discovery Findings Report Preferred Experience Strong preference for candidates with experience in: * Healthcare SaaS * EHR / EMR platforms * Healthie * Athena * OptiMantra * Healthcare operations * Telehealth * Workflow modernization * Product discovery Engagement Estimated commitment: 25-40 hours during Discovery Phase Potential for ongoing engagement through implementation and product growth.
