Illustrator Needed to Create Safety Mascot / Caricature Character for Construction Company

We are looking for a talented illustrator or character designer to create a fun, safety-oriented mascot for our company, Trowel Craft. We have an AI-rendered reference image of a person wearing the required PPE, but we do not want the final artwork to look like a real person. Instead, we want the character turned into a caricature, mascot, or cartoon-style figure. It can be human-like, emoji-inspired, or another fun creative style, as long as it feels approachable and visually engaging. The main priority is accurately showcasing the required PPE our employees wear. Required PPE to include: Hard hat with chin strap Safety glasses Hearing protection High-visibility safety vest Same style gloves as shown in reference Steel toe work boots Important notes: The final character does not need to resemble the reference person The pose and body style can be completely redesigned The non-PPE clothing can be changed however you see fit We want the overall feel to be fun, friendly, and safety-focused Full-body design only for this phase Deliverables: Adobe Illustrator file (.AI) PNG JPG What we’re looking for: Strong illustration / mascot / character design skills Ability to create clean, professional artwork from a reference Experience designing characters for workplace, brand, or safety-related materials is a plus
