Interior Designer for House Renovation

Seeking an experienced interior designer for a major house renovation project (around 4800sqf) in Northern California. The ideal candidate has following experiences; - experiences of working on luxury residential interior design projects of a similar or bigger scale that have been completed as per the design work - great knowledge of lighting design and color&material choices, and related experiences of applying lighting, color and material knowledge to projects - understanding of how interior design considerations might impact any structural requirements - ideally has a portfolio of design works in contemporary, Japandi or mid-century modern style Responsibilities include the followings; - strategic space planning to balance functionality, aesthetics, and budget - creating 3D designs (sketchup modeling for a quick illustration and iteration and rendering for the near-final output) - selecting materials - creating a procurement list - and putting together documents on time to communicate with architects and contractors and guide them efficiently. Requirements All the design considerations and output should be compliant with municipality codes here in California. Therefore, design works based on great understanding of local codes to ensure the compliance is required for this job. Relevant past experiences will be appreciated.
