Legal Data Annotator — Law Students & Paralegals Welcome (Remote, Flexible Hours)

We create tailored datasets that train and evaluate legal AI. You'll label and structure legal text — following detailed guidelines set by our supervising attorney — turning real court opinions into clean, accurate data. It's flexible, remote, and a great fit alongside law school. What you'll do: Harvest legal propositions and their citations from public court opinions (we'll show you exactly how) Label each item against our guidelines — is the citation valid, and if not, why Keep your work consistent across batches and hit accuracy benchmarks (we check against known-answer items) Flag anything ambiguous instead of guessing You're a strong fit if you are: A law student (2L/3L), recent JD grad, or experienced paralegal A careful reader with real attention to detail Able to follow detailed written instructions precisely and work independently Reliable and responsive Nice to have: familiarity with case law, Bluebook citation, legal research tools, or spreadsheets. How we hire: shortlisted candidates complete a short paid test task (~30 minutes) labeling a small real sample before we finalize. Details: Hourly or per-task, remote, flexible/asynchronous hours.
