Live English–Bulgarian Interpreter Required for Public Bible Talks in Sofia

We are looking for a confident and reliable English ↔ Bulgarian interpreter to provide live translation at two public Bible talks and discussion sessions in Sofia. The event will be held at: Budapest Hotel, Pannonia Meeting Hall 92 A Budapeshta street 1202 Sofia Sunday 15th November 14:30–17:30 The role will involve live interpretation from English into Bulgarian and, where needed, from Bulgarian back into English during audience questions and discussion. The talks will be public Bible presentations, so the interpreter should be comfortable translating religious and biblical language accurately, respectfully, and clearly. The tone of the event will be serious, friendly, and public-facing. Responsibilities: Translate live from English into Bulgarian during two Bible talks. Interpret Bulgarian audience questions or comments back into English. Support clear communication during discussion periods. Arrive in good time before the event for a short briefing. Requirements: Fluent spoken English and Bulgarian. Experience in live interpretation, public events, church meetings, lectures, or similar settings. Clear speaking voice and calm manner. Comfortable with biblical or religious subject matter. Reliable and punctual. Preferred: Previous experience interpreting Christian, theological, educational, or public lecture material. Familiarity with Bible terminology in both English and Bulgarian.
