Logo Refinement for Residency Program

We are a Family Medicine Residency Program in Southern California seeking a professional logo that reflects our program identity and values. We currently have a logo that incorporates a tree and themes of growth and community. While we would like to preserve the symbolism of a tree representing growth, deep roots, and a strong foundation in training, patient care, and community, we are seeking a cleaner, more professional, and more timeless design suitable for an academic residency program. We are also interested in themes inspired by Southern California and sunshine, but are open to significant redesign and creative interpretation of these ideas. The logo should feel professional, academic, and timeless—similar to the branding of a university department, healthcare organization, nonprofit, or professional society rather than a startup or commercial business. The final design should be versatile and scalable, working effectively across embroidery, apparel, conference materials, social media, digital media, signage, and print applications.
