Looking for a YouTube Shorts Editor

I’m looking for a freelance video editor to create engaging YouTube Shorts focused on geopolitics, world events, and country-based educational content. The videos will mainly use: Animated maps Motion graphics Stock footage (occasional) Text overlays and data highlights Reference style: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YxAg_EBK4qU The goal is to create visually engaging, fast-paced educational Shorts optimized for audience retention. What you will do: Edit 6 YouTube Shorts per month Create map-based animations and motion visuals Add captions, text overlays, and highlights Use transitions and effects to improve storytelling Follow a consistent visual style for the channel Requirements: Experience in video editing (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or explainer videos) Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro Experience with motion graphics and/or map animation is highly preferred Understanding of pacing for educational/geopolitical content Ability to create visually engaging storytelling videos To apply, please include: Portfolio or examples of short-form videos you’ve edited Your experience with similar content Estimated turnaround time per video
