Medical Biller

Our growing clinical practice is looking for a part-time medical biller. Responsibilities include: Insurance verification: confirm clients eligibility and benefits as well as pre-authorization requirements prior to care. Timely claim submissions: submit claims on a weekly basis using our EHR system. Denial management: investigate correct and appeal denied or rejected claims to recover lost revenue. Payment posting: record remittance and reconcile ledger once insurance payments are received. Patient invoicing and collection: generate statements for remaining patient balance, explain eobs and manage payment plans and collections. Troubleshoot insurance-related issues as they arrive. Applicants must have experience with medical billing.
