We’re looking for a designer who can help turn our existing ad creative into stronger Meta ads by adding high-performing text overlays, hooks, and value-prop messaging. We already have the core creative assets (lifestyle and product photos), product visuals, brand direction, and website messaging. We need someone who can take what’s already on our site and translate it into ad-native creative that performs better across Instagram and Facebook placements. This is not a generic graphic design project. We’re looking for someone who understands paid social, especially Meta, and knows how to make creative feel premium while still being clear, direct, and conversion-focused. Our product is $250 and positioned as a premium/luxury consumer item and maintaining brand status is important. What you’ll do: Review our website, creative, product messaging, and value props. Identify the strongest hooks, benefits, and objections to feature in ad creative. Add clean, premium, high-impact text overlays to existing visuals/videos. Create variations for Meta placements such as Reels, Stories, Feed, and all relevant aspect ratios. Balance brand polish with direct-response clarity Help us test different angles, hooks, and messaging treatments and provide advice on additional creative / videos to explore to fill messaging/marketing gaps Ideal candidate: Strong visual design taste Advertising/Marketing background Experience designing Meta / Instagram / Facebook ad creative Understands direct-response creative, not just pretty layouts Can create bold but tasteful text hierarchy Comfortable working with premium consumer products with minimal/luxury aesthetic Able to make product benefits obvious quickly Can suggest better hooks/copy, not just place text we provide Understands mobile-first creative and safe zones for Reels/Stories Experience with Meta Ads Manager is a bonus Deliverables may include: Text overlay concepts and templates for existing static and/or video creative Multiple hook/copy variations per creative Feed, Story, and Reels-ready exports Editable PSD source files Optional: recommendations for future ad creative tests Important style direction: We do not want generic e-commerce templates, loud dropshipping-style ads, or overly corporate layouts. The product should still feel premium and well-designed. The goal is to make the benefits clear and compelling without cheapening the brand. Please include examples of Meta ads, paid social creative, direct-response design, or conversion-focused ecommerce creative you’ve worked on. This can convert into an ongoing part time role if the ads perform well and you successfully advise on additional creative, ad strategies, etc.
