Need Full-Stack Developer to Help Us Roll Out an AI Assistant Inside Our SaaS Platform

We're at the point where adding AI to the product actually makes sense. Not looking for a flashy ChatGPT clone. Looking for someone who knows how to plug AI into a SaaS product in a way that saves users time, cuts down friction, and becomes part of their day-to-day workflow. The platform is already up and running - React, Next.js, TypeScript on the frontend, Django and PostgreSQL on the backend. Nothing needs to be built from scratch. We mainly want to layer in an AI experience that feels useful rather than just adding AI for the sake of it. The idea is pretty straightforward: users should be able to pull up a chat, ask questions, get help navigating the platform, look things up, and get answers based on our internal knowledge and product data. A few things we'd like help with: -Hooking up OpenAI API -Putting together a clean chat experience inside the existing React app -Wiring up backend endpoints in Django -Saving conversation history -Setting up basic limits and permissions -Pulling information from a small knowledge base -Testing everything and getting it live We're not trying to boil the ocean here. Just want to get a solid V1 out the door and then build on top of it if users actually pick it up. Would be great if you've already worked on AI assistants, OpenAI integrations, RAG-style systems, SaaS products, customer portals, dashboards, or similar things where AI is part of a real workflow and not just a demo feature.
