Outreach & Community Marketing Assistant for Therapy Group

I'm a licensed psychologist in New York launching an in-person caregiver support group in Brooklyn. I'm looking for someone who can help spread the word to the right organizations and communities. I am **not** looking for someone to provide therapy or create clinical content. I'm looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and experienced with community outreach. Responsibilities * Research organizations that serve caregivers, older adults, and families in Brooklyn and NYC. * Identify support organizations, nonprofits, hospitals, community centers, religious organizations, libraries, senior centers, social workers, and community groups. * Contact organizations via email or contact forms using materials I provide. * Identify relevant Facebook groups, newsletters, calendars, and community boards where the group can be shared. * Keep a spreadsheet of outreach efforts and responses. * Suggest additional outreach opportunities. I'll Provide * Flyer * Group description * Email template * Website information * Any edits or guidance needed Ideal Candidate * Experience with community outreach or nonprofit marketing. * Excellent written English. * Strong research skills. * Detail-oriented and organized. * Comfortable working independently and providing weekly updates. Project Goal The goal is to fill an 8-week in-person caregiver support group in Brooklyn by reaching people and organizations that regularly interact with family caregivers.
