Project Overview Barneys Salon Supplies is one of Australia's leading beauty wholesalers, supplying professional salons, beauty therapists and spas with waxing products, disposables, nail products, hygiene solutions and salon essentials. We are seeking an experienced Packaging Designer to lead the redesign of our private label product range. This project will involve developing a cohesive packaging system that unifies multiple product categories under a single professional brand identity while maintaining strong shelf presence and product recognition. Project Objective Our current private label range has evolved over many years and contains inconsistent packaging styles, colours, layouts and branding. We are looking for a designer who can create a modern, scalable packaging system that: 1. Strengthens brand recognition 2. Creates consistency across all products 3. Improves perceived product quality 4. Supports future product launches 5. Appeals to professional beauty salons and therapists 6. Works across retail and wholesale environments Creative Direction We are currently exploring a modern clinical beauty direction. The visual style should be: 1. Clean 2. Professional 3. Minimal 4. Premium 5. Easy to navigate 6. Suitable for beauty professionals Requirements Essential 1. Proven packaging design experience 2. Strong branding experience 3. Experience creating print-ready artwork 4. Strong typography and layout skills 5. Experience working with consumer products Highly Desirable 1. Beauty industry experience 2.
