Part-Time Social Media Operations Manager for Restaurants

We're a social media marketing agency based in NC managing Instagram and TikTok accounts for restaurant clients. We're looking for a sharp, proactive US-based social media operations manager to help run the day-to-day across multiple accounts and keep everything moving on time. This is not a passive role. You'll be an active collaborator — someone I can count on to help run things, not just execute tasks when handed to them. What you'll be doing: - Managing content calendars for 3 restaurant clients across Instagram and TikTok - Collaborating on content creation — this is a 50/50 role, meaning you'll be expected to come up with post ideas and content independently, not just wait to be told what to post - Creating graphics and visuals in Canva for posts, events, and promotions - Flagging upcoming events and deadlines proactively — if something needs to go up Thursday, you're reminding me Monday - Posting and scheduling content across platforms - Handling miscellaneous tasks like setting up Eventbrite listings, drafting captions, and other day-to-day needs as they come up - General social media support and coordination across accounts Requirements: - Based in the United States - Available and responsive during US business hours - Proficient in Canva — you should be able to build event graphics, story templates, and promotional posts independently - Prior experience managing social media for restaurants, food, or hospitality brands strongly preferred - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive - Strong content instincts — you understand what performs on Instagram and TikTok for restaurant brands - Excellent written communication and caption writing skills - Self-starter who can take ownership without being micromanaged This role is part operations, part creative. The ideal person is organized enough to keep three client accounts running smoothly and creative enough to contribute real content ideas. If you need constant direction this is not the right fit.
