Pet Food Formulator for Dog Snacks

I’m developing a new premium dog snack brand and I’m looking for an experienced pet food formulator or CPG product developer to help create a manufacturing-ready product for commercial production. The focus is strictly on product formulation (not branding or packaging). I need support developing 1–2 scalable dog snack formulations that can be produced through a co-manufacturer. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience bringing food or pet food products into commercial production and understands how to balance ingredient functionality, cost, shelf stability, and manufacturing feasibility. We are aiming for a high-quality, minimally processed dog snack with strong retail potential. Organic ingredients are preferred where feasible but must be balanced with scalability and cost requirements. This project is intended for senior-level professionals with proven CPG or pet food manufacturing experience.
