I am looking for an experienced premium brand identity and logo designer to refine the logo system for a modern canine movement-longevity supplement brand. This is not a full brand identity project from scratch. I already have a completed brand intake form, brand book, positioning work, competitive context, rough color palette, and several visual direction mockups. I am looking for a designer with a strong eye to take the existing direction and refine it into a polished, ownable, professional logo system. The brand is a premium canine nutraceutical brand focused on mobility, vitality, resilience, and supporting dogs as lifelong companions. The identity should feel modern, minimal, premium, science-led, warm, emotionally resonant, and canine-specific without feeling childish, generic, clinical, or overly “pet store.” What I Need I am looking for refinement and professional execution of the following logo assets: Primary horizontal logo Secondary stacked logo Standalone brand mark / icon Wordmark-only version Small-scale icon test One-color version Reverse-color version Basic clear-space and minimum-size guidance Final vector and export files The current visual direction includes a refined wordmark, a subtle canine movement/vitality concept, and a premium color palette using deep navy, soft off-white, sage/olive tones, charcoal, and a restrained clinical orange accent. I am open to expert recommendations on the palette and overall brand system. What I Am Looking For in a Designer I am especially interested in designers with experience in: Premium CPG branding Wellness, supplement, nutraceutical, beauty, or pet brands Modern minimalist logo systems Packaging-conscious identity design Brands that need to feel elevated, trustworthy, and commercially viable I am not looking for someone who will simply execute what I already have without thinking critically. I want honest feedback and a strong design point of view. I would like someone who can identify potential brand faux pas, generic design choices, visual clichés, scalability issues, color issues, trademark-risk concerns, or anything that may make the brand feel less premium or less ownable. Important Brand Direction The brand should avoid: Cartoon dogs Paw-print clichés Bones Hearts Veterinary crosses Generic pet-store branding Standard ECG / heartbeat symbols Obvious “heartbeat line turning into a dog” logos Overly sporty graphics Obvious suns, stars, sparkles, or lightbulbs The final identity should feel like a premium longevity and movement brand that happens to be for dogs — not a veterinary clinic, rescue organization, pet insurance company, or generic pet supplement brand. Process I would like the project to include: Review of the brand intake form, brand book, visual direction, and mockups One kickoff meeting to discuss the current direction and opportunities for refinement Logo system refinement and presentation of the recommended direction One follow-up meeting to review feedback Final refinement and delivery of logo files I expect the designer to work from the existing strategy and visual concepts, but also bring a critical, experienced eye to improve the system. Deliverables Final files should include: Editable vector file, preferably AI or EPS SVG files PDF logo sheet PNG files with transparent background JPG/PNG versions on navy and off-white backgrounds Black, white, navy, and color versions where appropriate Basic logo usage page with clear space, minimum size, and color notes To Apply Please include: 3–5 examples of relevant logo or brand identity work Any examples of premium wellness, supplement, beauty, pet, or CPG branding A brief note on how you approach refining an existing brand direction versus creating from scratch Your estimated timeline What you would include in your process and deliverables. * Note that I will provide documents once NDA is signed.
