Summary

Job Description We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our growing company. This role requires strict confidentiality, professionalism, and experience maintaining accurate financial records within QuickBooks. The selected candidate will be granted access to sensitive financial information and must agree to execute a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before beginning work. Responsibilities - Maintain and organize all bookkeeping records in QuickBooks. - Accurately categorize income, expenses, invoices, bills, and payments. - Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements. - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. - Generate monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. - Review financial records for discrepancies or unusual transactions and report findings promptly. - Maintain organized documentation for tax preparation and audits. - Ensure bookkeeping practices align with generally accepted accounting principles. - Recommend improvements to financial organization and reporting processes. - Communicate regularly regarding financial status, outstanding items, and bookkeeping updates. Requirements The successful candidate must: - Sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before receiving access. - Treat all financial records, customer information, vendor information, tax documents, and business operations as strictly confidential. - Refrain from sharing, copying, or distributing company information without written authorization. - Use QuickBooks access solely for authorized bookkeeping duties. - Immediately report any suspected security issues or unauthorized access. Restrictions Without prior written approval, the contractor may not: - Transfer company funds. - Modify banking or ownership information. - Add or remove administrative users. - Delete accounting records or supporting documents. - Share login credentials or confidential information with third parties. Preferred Qualifications - Proven experience with QuickBooks Online. - Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Experience working with small businesses or startups. - Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines. - High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality. Deliverables - Accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records. - Monthly reconciliations and financial reports. - Organized transaction history and supporting documentation. - Timely identification of discrepancies and recommended corrective actions.
