QuickBooks Online Accountant

We are seeking an experienced independent contractor with advanced QuickBooks Online expertise to assist with a short-term project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with the ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage financial records efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Project Scope: Review previous transactions entered (primarily journal entries). Research, document, and remove those transactions in accordance with our remediation plan. Compare historical trial balances to identify and resolve variances affecting prior years. Maintain a complete audit trail of all changes. Create and preserve a QuickBooks Online export/recovery point before each phase of the cleanup. We already understand the issue and have a remediation plan. We are looking for a contractor to execute the plan accurately and efficiently—not to determine the cause.
