QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper Needed for Catch-Up and Monthly Close We are a growing U.S.-based aviation-parts trading company looking for an experienced bookkeeper to help clean up several months of QuickBooks Online activity and provide ongoing monthly bookkeeping support. Our business buys, repairs, and resells aircraft parts. Inventory is tracked separately by part number and serial number, so experience with inventory-based businesses is strongly preferred. Initial project Review our current QuickBooks Online records Identify and correct bookkeeping errors Catch up 2-3 months of bank reconciliations Review transaction categorization Reconcile customer deposits, vendor prepayments, inventory, and cost of goods sold Correctly record owner loans, distributions, refunds, freight, repair costs, and bank fees Create a clear process for future monthly bookkeeping Ongoing responsibilities Complete the month-end close Reconcile bank accounts Review and categorize transactions Record inventory and cost-of-goods-sold Track customer deposits and vendor prepayments Review accounts receivable and accounts payable Coordinate with our CPA at year-end Preferred qualifications Strong QuickBooks Online experience Experience with U.S.-based businesses Experience with inventory and cost-of-goods-sold accounting Familiarity with S corporations and owner transactions Strong attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is preferred but not required This will begin as a one-time catch-up and cleanup project, with the possibility of ongoing monthly or quarterly work.
