React Native Developer — AR Golf Putting App (Camera + Sensors + Physics Engine) — MVP Build

I'm building CaddieEye — an AR golf putting app that draws a live putting line on the camera feed accounting for slope, wind, temperature and humidity in real time. No other app does this. The app already has a validated concept — 3,700 people saw the demo in 24 hours, waitlist building at caddieeye.golf. WHAT MAKES THIS JOB DIFFERENT: You are not starting from scratch. I will hand you on day one: • Complete working UI demo (React JSX) • Full physics/break calculator (TypeScript) • Camera integration architecture • Weather API hook (Open-Meteo — free, no key) • GPS and IMU sensor hooks • Object detection strategy (CV + YOLOv8) • Kalman filter for coordinate smoothing • Distance estimation utility • Stats storage model (AsyncStorage) • Full file structure and architecture document • Live landing page with waitlist already building You are building on a complete blueprint — not figuring out what to build. TECH STACK: • React Native (Expo) • TypeScript • expo-camera / react-native-vision-camera • react-native-sensors (DeviceMotion) • expo-location (GPS) • React Native Skia (AR overlay) • TensorFlow Lite (ML detection — Phase 2) • AsyncStorage (stats) • Open-Meteo API (weather — free, no key needed) MVP SCOPE (Phase 1 — this contract): 1. Live camera feed with SVG overlay 2. Tap-to-place ball and hole markers 3. Curved AR putting line on camera feed 4. Red aim point marker 5. IMU slope detection (gyroscope) 6. GPS + live weather integration 7. Break calculator wired to all inputs 8. Bottom HUD (distance, break, power, wind) 9. After-putt result modal (made/missed) 10. Basic stats screen (make %, by distance) 11. iOS + Android both PHASE 2 (separate discussion — revenue share available for the right person): • Auto ball/hole detection (computer vision) • Apple Watch haptic alignment guide • Club suggestions • Full AI caddie features TIMELINE: 6–8 weeks for Phase 1 MVP.
