Title: Shopify Store Clone & Migration Workflow Setup — Products, Themes, Templates, Assets — Fixed $50 Budget: Fixed Price: $50 Category: Shopify Development / Shopify Store Migration / E-commerce Automation Job Description I need a Shopify developer/operator who can firstly reconcile across 10 different stores all product pages and templates to 1 unified store and then making it a clean workflow for cloning and migrating Shopify store assets into one consolidated destination store and theme. The final output should be a practical migration workflow that can be reused along with a clean store with all product pages migrated across all stores. The goal is not just manually copying products. I need someone who understands how to safely move or map: Products Product images/media Collections Pages Blogs if applicable Theme files Templates Sections Snippets Assets Shopify Files Metafields Metaobjects if used Redirects Template suffix assignments This needs to be done in a way that avoids breaking product pages, image references, custom templates, app blocks, or metafield/metaobject-driven sections. I am specifically looking for someone who can help determine the cleanest workflow using a combination of: Shopify clone apps Matrixify Shopify CLI Shopify GraphQL Admin API Theme export/import GitHub/local theme backup Manual QA/checklist process The final output should be a practical migration workflow that can be reused along with a clean store with all product pages migrated. Scope for This $100 Job Deliverables: 1. Review the source Shopify store structure. 2. Recommend the best clone/migration method. 3. Identify whether a Shopify clone app is enough or whether Matrixify/CLI/API is needed. 4. Create a migration checklist. 5. Create a theme/template backup workflow. 6. Explain how products/pages should be mapped to the destination templates. 7. Identify risk areas: metafields, metaobjects, app blocks, old CDN image links, duplicate handles, etc. 8. Provide a clean step-by-step workflow for consolidating everything into one store and one master theme. 9. 100 or so products across all 10 stores fully reconciled into 1 store while maintaining all of their section and image data. Ideal Candidate You should have experience with: Shopify theme structure Shopify CLI Shopify store duplication/migration Matrixify or similar Shopify import/export tools Shopify clone apps such as Duplify, AClone, Simple Sync, CopyCat, etc. Product/page/template migration Metafields and metaobjects Theme JSON templates Shopify Files and product media GitHub or local theme version control You do not need to build a custom app unless you think it is necessary. I mainly want the correct migration system and workflow. Important Please do not apply if your only approach is: “Use a clone app and copy everything.” That is not enough. I need someone who understands that Shopify store cloning can break when products, templates, metafields, app blocks, media, and theme references are not mapped correctly. Expected Final Deliverable All of my shopify stores united under 1 store with all the existing templates, images, sections, functionality unbroken. A skill, script, automation or app that does this beginning to end. A concise but detailed document or Loom-style walkthrough showing: The recommended workflow Which tools/apps to use What order to migrate things in What can be automated What needs manual QA What could break How to avoid broken templates/images/metafields How to consolidate multiple templates into one master theme Bonus if you can provide a simple folder/repo structure like: /source-theme/ /destination-theme/ /exports/ /mapping/ /qa-checklist/ Screening Questions Have you cloned or migrated a Shopify store before? What tools did you use? What is the difference between cloning a Shopify theme and cloning a full Shopify store? How would you handle product templates that use custom metafields or metaobjects? What Shopify clone app would you recommend, and where would that app not be enough? How would you safely move theme files without breaking the live store? Can you use Shopify CLI or Matrixify? Briefly explain your experience. For $50, what exact deliverable would you provide for this first project? Preferred Outcome I want to find someone who can help me build a reliable Shopify migration system long-term. This first job is a small paid test. If the workflow is clean and practical, there may be more work afterward for actual store consolidation, theme cleanup, and migration execution.
