Seeking Catholic or ex-Catholic Developmental Editor for Memoir

SEEKING DEVELOPMENTAL EDITOR to assist me with a nearly completed first draft of a memoir that I hope to publish. DESCRIPTION OF MEMOIR The memoir is a coming of age story involving sexuality, Catholicism, and a love of the divine. It does involve some (not a lot, not too intense) sexual abuse and scandal. The audience is Catholics, ex-Catholics, and those intrigued by the mystique of Catholicism which may include non-Catholic Christians, atheists, Jews, and persons of other religions INTENTION OF THIS BOOK My intention in writing this is to help the Church, not hinder it, although some material may not be welcomed by some. YOU ARE A BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE IF - You are Catholic or ex-Catholic. This is essential. - You have a cultural experience of Catholicism, and perhaps the pain Catholics and ex-Catholics may feel. - You are enthusiastic about my content, which includes valuing clarity of Catholic concepts. - You have experience with helping authors develop their story ARC, as a first step in a multi-step editing process. - Bonus: you may understand or have experienced a "charismatic" or "spirit-led" spirituality. For now, I'm only seeking help with the STRUCTURAL ARCS. I'm envisioning just 1-3 hours/week (flexible) to review and give me feedback, inspiration, and ideas. This is a small gig, a part-time job, that will be EXCITING to someone enthusiastic about my content. To boot, your own understanding of Catholicism may grow tremendously as you accompany me on my journey. If it turns out we have good rapport, this has potential to turn into a longer contract, for helping me with subsequent aspects of editing to get this manuscript fully polished, ready for the next steps with publishing.
