Senior QA Engineer

About the Role A fast-growing hospitality software company is looking for a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join the product team. You will be the primary quality owner for a custom CRM application used by hotels and restaurant operators across Europe. The role combines hands-on testing, automation support, documentation, and light development collaboration. Key Responsibilities - Plan, execute, and document thorough test cycles across functional workflows, user permissions, automation rules, third-party integrations, and responsive/mobile layouts. - Identify, reproduce, and report bugs with clear steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and recommended fixes. - Run and manage AI-assisted testing agents to accelerate coverage and support development workflows. - Record all testing sessions via Google Meet and verbally explain issues so the AI Note Taker can generate structured documentation and a searchable video log. - Own and maintain the company’s ClickUp instance as the central source of truth for bug tracking, task statuses, feature requests, roadmap items, and the internal user manual. - Deliver concise weekly status reports to senior management covering bugs found, fixes verified, outstanding issues, blockers, and overall project health. - Test and validate API integrations between the CRM and external services. - Fix UI/UX issues independently and address deeper technical issues as directed by the Lead Developer. - Support the team with page design, layout QA, and, if skillset allows, contribute to Laravel/Vue development tasks. Requirements - 4+ years of QA experience on web and mobile applications (SaaS, e-commerce, or similar). - Strong manual testing skills including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, UI/UX, security, and UAT testing. - Automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Appium experience for mobile testing is a plus. - Experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI, including REST and SOAP services. - Performance and load testing experience using JMeter or LoadRunner. - Experience with cross-browser and device testing using BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm. - Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, qTest, or PractiTest. - Experience with project tracking tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or similar. Must be comfortable owning and managing the system. - Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Maven. - Experience with version control systems including Git, GitHub, or GitLab. - Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise bug reports and status summaries. - Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable working in fast-paced iterative environments with changing priorities. Nice to Have - Familiarity with Laravel and/or Vue.js with the ability to contribute to development tasks when needed. - Experience testing CRM, PMS, POS, or hospitality management systems. - Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Gherkin. - Experience using AI-assisted testing tools or prompt-driven automation agents.
