Senior Full-Stack Engineer to Audit, Stabilize & Scale Existing Platform

Looking for a senior React + TypeScript + Supabase engineer to audit, stabilize, and polish an existing social/content platform. This is not a greenfield project and we are not looking for a rebuild. The platform is already live and functional. The primary goal is to improve reliability, eliminate bugs, improve performance, strengthen mobile and iOS parity, clean up technical debt, and create a more stable and professional user experience. The ideal candidate has experience taking over existing production applications, auditing large codebases, identifying root causes of issues, improving platform reliability, and reducing regressions. The platform includes profiles, content feeds, uploads (image, video, audio), messaging, notifications, creator portfolios, community features, mobile web, and an iOS application built with React, TypeScript, Supabase, and Capacitor. Phase 1 responsibilities include: • Bug fixing and platform stabilization • Upload and posting reliability improvements • Mobile and iOS polish • Performance optimization • Navigation and UX consistency • Technical debt reduction • Database and Supabase optimization • Code quality improvements • Full platform QA and regression testing We are looking for someone who can evaluate what already exists, identify weaknesses, prioritize fixes, and systematically improve the platform without disrupting existing functionality.
