Senior Motion Graphic Designer & AI Animator for Premium Cinematic Motion Comics

About the Studio: We are a high-end sequential art and comic book production studio specializing in end-to-end visual production. We work strictly B2B with international publishers, magazines, and executive editors, delivering premium graphic novels and comic series. We do not compromise on quality. The Role: We are looking for a professionally trained Motion Designer/Animator who has masterfully integrated AI video tools into their professional workflow. We do NOT want someone who merely generates random AI clips. We need a creative professional who understands animation principles, pacing, and storytelling, and uses AI (alongside After Effects/Nuke/etc.) to elevate 2D flat comic panels into breathtaking, cinematic scenes. The Goal: This is not a simple slideshow or a basic pan-and-zoom video. The final output must have a massive "Wow" factor. It needs to feel like a premium, dramatic, and immersive animated teaser. You must be able to take a single, flat illustrated page and breathe life into it using: Meticulous manual layer separation for deep, immersive parallax effects. Cinematic and dramatic camera movements. Advanced AI integration for fluid transitions, ambient animation (smoke, weather, lighting), and dynamic depth. Professional sound design and pacing. Requirements: Strong Animation Foundation: You must have a background in motion graphics, 2D animation, or VFX—not just prompt engineering. Advanced AI Toolkit: Proven experience using professional AI tools (e.g., Runway Gen-3, Kling, Topaz, etc.) in combination with traditional compositing software to maintain strict control over the final image without losing the original art style. Problem Solver: Ability to manually separate flat artwork into layers when layered PSDs are unavailable. B2B Standard: Ability to take direct art direction, meet strict deadlines, and deliver flawless, broadcast-ready exports.
