Senior VB.NET / .NET Developer – Desktop, Web & Angular (Long-Term Contract)

We are looking for an experienced .NET developer for a long-term relationship maintaining and enhancing a mature business application. The solution has been in continuous development for over 20 years and serves a specialized market. The application consists of two integrated components: A Windows desktop application written primarily in VB.NET with a local Microsoft SQL Server database. An ASP.NET API with an Angular front end hosted in Microsoft Azure with an Azure SQL Database backend that synchronizes data from the desktop application and provides online payment capabilities. This is not a new development project—we need someone who can quickly understand an existing codebase, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features as our business evolves. Required Skills Strong experience with VB.NET and the .NET Framework Experience developing and maintaining Windows desktop and ASP.NET API with Angular Front-end application. Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Azure App Services and Azure SQL Database Git source control Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience Payment gateway integrations Experience maintaining and enhancing mature business applications Application and feature enhancements Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with a small team What We're Looking For We're looking for a developer who enjoys working on established business applications and can confidently maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance an existing codebase.
